Sita Devi, a resident of a small village in Rajasthan, had never touched a smartphone. After completing our program, she not only uses digital payment apps but also runs an online handmade bag store through social media. Children like Ravi from Bihar now participate in national-level coding competitions thanks to access to digital classrooms. Our youth participants have secured internships and jobs in IT and BPO sectors after learning computer basics and communication skills.
What makes Vistar Foundation’s approach unique is our integration of digital literacy with life skills, entrepreneurship training, and health awareness. For example, our modules also teach women how to access telemedicine, apply for welfare schemes, or file complaints through online platforms. This holistic learning helps women and youth use digital tools not just for learning or business but also for their rights and personal growth.
We’ve also introduced courses in basic graphic design, digital marketing, and e-commerce management for advanced learners. These are especially beneficial for those looking to start or grow small businesses online. By integrating digital marketing knowledge with existing skills like tailoring, handicrafts, or baking, learners can build stronger income streams.
Our programs are aligned with India’s Digital India vision and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. By focusing on digital equity, we’re making sure that no woman, child, or youth is left behind in the new economy. We are not just teaching skills—we’re nurturing digital leaders.
Our Impact So Far:
Over 15,000 individuals trained across 80+ villages in 5 states.
6,000+ women now use smartphones for income generation.
3,000+ students now use educational apps for better learning.
Digital literacy is not a luxury—it is a basic right. Vistar Foundation invites educators, volunteers, corporates, and local organizations to collaborate with us and take this mission further. Whether through donations, training sessions, or spreading awareness, every contribution can make a difference.
